outfit post// yes, I'm wearing parrots

Hi Readers,

I am very aware that this post is long overdue. As any shall I say "artist," there are times when I feel simply uninspired. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, I patiently wait for the moment when things feel right. Oddly enough, I found it in this parrot romper!I bought it last week and I couldn't wait to wear it. It's quirky, and springy, and fun!

It feels good to be blogging and sharing my outfits with you guys again. I am looking forward to a possible career move in the near future and when things are more set in stone I look forward to writing about it and sharing my journey with you!

Romper: Forever 21

dream in color

I took these lovely photos last week with my good friend and photographer Camille, and I am so in love with them. It took several days to remove all of the gold glitter from my hair, but it was so worth it for these great shots!
I believe that life is constantly teaching us a lesson, and this week I've been reminded that despite how much we plan, things will not always go our way. Yes, it can be disappointing, but at the same time I can not imagine what life would be like if we had it all figured out. I will always be a big dreamer, but I also realize that wherever I end up will be better than what I can dream up. And I for one enjoy surprises!

spring wishlist

I apologize for the lack of posts over the last couple of weeks. While I may not have been blogging, I have of course still been shopping. Louisiana weather right now is still in a state in confusion (as usual). One warm day is followed by a cooler day. Okay so I am usually not a huge fan of one pieces being that they make for a terrible tan. However this vintage inspired one piece from Anthropologie is so so so ADORABLE!!!! Might have to start saving for this one!
